Use the Internet Explorer to access the URL of your newly created web site with /sitecore appended to the URL. That address will display the Sitecore client login screen. Log in as the user "admin". The password is initially empty. Use the Control Panel to change the password. Repeat this procedure for the other default users, including "anonymous", "editor", "webmaster", and "developer". This will protect your site from unauthorized access.
